Do you bring spare equipment?

Yes of course! I would not dream of attending a wedding without at least 2 cameras and spare lenses.  I use different lenses throughout the wedding so I am able to cover different angles or ranges to get the best shots and craft a better story to your day. Having the right gear means I can get the variety of shots you want with minimal disruption and without the need to always use a second shooter.

Do you capture any video at the wedding?

Yes, without the need of a video camera and with your approval, I do like to capture snippets of video throughout your day.

How long before we can see the photos?

I aim to have all edited and retouched images available for viewing within 10 days of the wedding. You can expect around 250 final images for you to proof. If you have ordered an album, you can then select an agreed number of these for use in your book. A full  proof of the book will then be available for your approval prior to printing.

Can we meet you before we book?

I recommend it!  We can arrange that I to come and see you at your home, local pub, cafe or anywhere else you like. I’ll bring along samples for you to look through and talk through your big day and any ideas you have. Of course this may not be always possible for long distance weddings however we can arrange a conference call to discuss your plans in more detail and there is always Skype and Facetime! There will be absolutely no hard sell.

How much is the deposit?

The deposit is £200 this secures your wedding date, with the remaining balance due upon approval of the final images.

Do you cover international/destination weddings?

Yes

What if it rains?

Some people dread the thought of a rainy wedding but there really isn’t a reason to worry. You’ll still have great day getting married to the man or woman of your dreams and you’ll still have a great selection of photos at the end of it. There are many great opportunities for photos in most venues.

Do you have insurance?

Yes, equipment, public liability and indemnity insurance. Liability insurance certificate can be produced for your venue on request.

Am I free to copy, print and share the images

Yes indeed! All my packages that come with a copyright free cd are yours to print, email, send to your friends etc.

We don’t really like having our picture taken. How do you deal with this?

First of all don’t worry! You would be surprised at how many people ask this question. This is one of the reasons why I reccomend a meet up prior to your wedding. This helps us get to know each other better, adds trust and means that when the day comes you know how I work and can almost pretend I’m not there!

Do you airbrush pictures?

As I capture most of the day as it happens I like to retain a certain amount of realism to the images but I will do a little skin smoothing and blemish removal to any images that might benefit from it. All of your images are colour balanced, retouched and edited individually by hand. I consider this part of the job to be equally as important as taking the pictures on the day and we carry out all post-production work in-house.
